When buying the "green" Fiat 124 Familiare, it was clear that the green exterior (which a lot of people love).... didn't fit the green interior. Clearly the car had received a new paint coat somewhere in it's live. mismatch in & out The amount of "overspray" was obvious. What didn't was clear, was the original color... hence what color was used when this vehicle left the Italian factory in 1969? Endless reseach on the internet... didn't do the trick... an badge/plate/sticker with the paint codes was not on the vehicle. The plate that indicates the VIN code.... does normally also tell the color code, but that is only the case for "newer models"... And a list with paint codes/samples... on the internet.. as rare as the car itself. 1968 - 1969 Fiat colors Hmm... that didn't help... Maybe buy me an 1969 Fiat 124 brochure... colors would be right next to the specifications, right? Nope.. Ma...
