The rubber seals for the sliding door windows were like concrete and all brittle at the 2101 Lada. New rubbers bought at Lada Powerrr did the trick.
Since the Fiat 124 Familiare (1969) has exactly the same trim, we probably have to do replace them too in the near future.
At Lada Power they sell a seal kit for the 2105. Works like a charm, but for the front seals you have to shorten them (hence at the 2105 there is no triangle shaped window.
Getting the chrome strips off - without damaging the paint (or the stainless trim) is a pain in the $%s. But once you know - you know.
For the rear doors... removing is the opposite, so there you pry on the front and slide towards the front of the car.
